BREAKING: Trump Shocks Supporters With MAJOR Announcement in Michigan

Published

on

Ever since Barack Hussein Obama took office, he has launched a war on Christmas that has gotten so bad that the phrase “Merry Christmas” is now considered to be “offensive.” During a speech in Michigan this week, Donald Trump revealed that during his presidency, he will be bringing back Christmas once and for all.

“We’re going to start saying Merry Christmas again,” Trump said, according to Fox News. He went on to lament that in recent years, many department stores have kept their more secular decorations, like fake snow, red walls and bells, “but they don’t have ‘Merry Christmas.’”

This comes after Trump defended Christmas numerous times during his successful presidential campaign.

“The word Christmas,” Trump said in September, according to The Daily Caller. “I love Christmas. I love Christmas. You go to stores, you don’t see the word Christmas. It says happy holidays all over. I say, ‘Where’s Christmas?’ I tell my wife, ‘Don’t go to those stores.’”

“I want to see Christmas. I want to see Christmas,” he continued. “Other people can have their holidays but Christmas is Christmas. I want to see Merry Christmas. Remember the expression Merry Christmas? You don’t see it anymore! You’re going to see it if I get elected, I can tell you right now.”

Trump has said that he believes that “there’s an assault on anything having [to do] with Christmas. They don’t want to use the word ‘Christmas’ anymore at department stores. There’s always lawsuits and unfortunately a lot of those lawsuits are won by the other side.”
