Hollywood legend James Woods is officially back on Twitter after a ban caused by a silly meme that mocked Democrats’ identity politics gambit by encouraging liberal men to stay home and make a women’s vote count more.

I could go on and on about how this is ridiculous, but I already have in various corners of this website and feel compelled, like the All-American Rejects advised, to “move along.”

Upon his return, Woods was able to gloat that federal Circuit Court Judge Kavanaugh was now Justice Kavanaugh, much to the chagrin of a phalanx of protesters that lined the corridors of the Capitol and shouted down everyone they disagreed with.

For whatever reason, senator-shaming didn’t catch on as a productive strategy; even Jeff Flake’s pusillanimity allowed for a one-week investigation during which pretty much every allegation against Kavanaugh collapsed in spectacular fashion.

In fact, the shaming even seemed to energize some senators who usually aren’t known to be particularly vociferous. On this end, few underwent as much of a transformation as Republican Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.

That’s why Woods noted that Graham was much more like a certain historical character whose mantle New Jersey Democratic Sen. Cory Booker tried to claim:

Yes, Lindsey Graham “actually IS Spartacus.”

Sure, I don’t think anyone really deserves to be called a Thracian gladiator who led a slave revolt against the Roman Empire in the first century B.C. However, dealing with protesters the way Graham did certainly manages to make a more convincing case for the comparison than Booker does:

“Why don’t we dunk him in water and see if he floats?” A suggestion which sent Sen. Dianne Feinstein, sensing another possibility to tarry further when it comes to the vote, was seen making calls to above-ground pool contractors for several hours until someone on her staff worked up the fortitude to tell her that Graham was making a funny.

And that was hardly all. Just look at Graham’s appearance at The Atlantic festival when, according to The Hill, he told the crowd to “boo yourself” when it booed him for pointing out Kavanaugh had been treated “like crap” during his appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Graham then reminded the audience that when Paula Jones had accused then-president Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct, Clinton surrogate James Carville thoughtfully noted that “this is what you get when you go through a trailer park with a $100 bill.”

#BelieveAllWomen, indeed.

Some in the media actually tried to attribute the quote to Graham and many in the audience gasped, not knowing the origin of the phrase.

Oh, and then there was Graham’s soliloquy before the Judiciary Committee, which I’m going to assume you’re familiar with. To that, all one can say is: dang.

So yes, if you’re looking for Spartacus, you could certainly do better than Cory Booker, a man who’s starting to resemble — in mien, in word and in deed — the anti-Trump attorney Michael Avenatti.

Surprisingly, if you’re looking for the kind of guy who could lead a revolt, Lindsey Graham is looking a lot more like it. I know, I probably wouldn’t have believed it myself when James Woods got himself put in @jack jail. That says a lot about just how fast these past few weeks have moved.

The democrats are trying so, so hard to get one up on the republicans, yet they fail every time, be it on social matters, political matters or just common sense on the difference between the truth and their lies…

Mr. Woods is right on. Corey Booker was raised in an Upper Middle-Class neighborhood in Bergen County NJ. Could only get elected when he moved to Newark NJ and conned minorities. By the way Newark is a mess now because of Booker.

I have been to Newark many times for many years. That place has always been a dump. Worse now that booker has made it that way. He would not make a pimple on Spartacus ass. Can you say LIAR LOSER

We must remember that if not for Trump these Republicans would be cowering and abandoning the Kavanaugh ship. Before Trump showed them how to go on the offense, the Republicans were like a boxer that covers up and let’s his opponent beat on him until that opponent is exhausted and can’t beat on him anymore. Then the Republican claims some sort of victory.
