White House counselor Kellyanne Conway revealed Friday that a woman has been charged for grabbing and shaking her while Conway was eating out with her teenage daughter in Bethesda, Maryland.

“Somebody was grabbing me from behind, grabbing my arms, and was shaking me to the point where I felt maybe somebody was hugging me,” Conway told CNN’s Dana Bash.

“She was out of control. I don’t even know how to explain her to you. She was just, her whole face was terror and anger. She was right here, and my daughter was right there. She ought to pay for that.”

Conway called 911, but the woman left before law enforcement could arrive at the Uncle Julio’s restaurant.

The woman, Mary Elizabeth Inabinett, was charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct in November, CNN reported.

Inabinett will have a trial in Maryland state court in March.

“Ms. Inabinett saw Kellyanne Conway, a public figure, in a public place, and exercised her First Amendment right to express her personal opinions. She did not assault Ms. Conway. The facts at trial will show this to be true, and show Ms. Conway’s account to be false,” Inabinett’s lawyer William Alden McDaniel Jr. said in a statement, according to CNN.

Conway claimed her daughter had video recorded some of what transpired.

Conway is not the first Trump administration figure to face backlash while at a restaurant with her family.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was kicked out of the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, in June by the owner because of her work for President Donald Trump.

Conway’s interview with Bash was different from some of her past CNN appearances.

She and CNN host Chris Cuomo got into it while discussing Trump and Michael Cohen in August.

“There’s a little difference between you and me and the shop you’re working for — integrity,” Cuomo told Conway.

“The White House? How dare you! Don’t you dare,” Conway said.

“You should admit he’s lying, and you don’t and that’s why people don’t trust you,” he responded.

She countered, “You know why, maybe your audience doesn’t because this is no longer the CNN who breaks news, this is the CNN of opinion and anti-Trump stuff.”

I hope the woman who assaulted Kelly Ann Conway in front of her daughter is severely sentenced. It is not her right to grab and squeeze a person she considers a political opponent. Keep Off. Do not frighten people and their young children or even older children. Ms. Inabinett, keep your hands off of people who do not vote with you.

Come on America, we are better than this. If you see someone assaulting Our Beloved Members of the Republican Party. STOP IT. Just because the Radical Racist Mad Max Waters called for these assaults does not make it right. It is up to us to stop it, time to show these radical hypocrites this will not be tolerated. STOP THE ASSAULT, PROTECT YOURSELF AND HOLD THEM FOR THE POLICE, HAIR CONTROL WORKS WELL AND IT HURTS.

It’s time to start hitting the unhinged democrats where it hurts, even if they have very little money bring a lawsuit against them. That is the only thing that gets them where it hurts the most, since they want everything free.

I say the attacker should get free room and board for a year or two. Liberal love free “stuff”. How about a free vacation to a government facility courtesy of our justice system. And her lawyer, who says she was simply exercising her first amendment rights, should have someone jump the rail and do the same to him as he’s doing his summation. I’ll bet he wouldn’t be quite as sympathetic with his own attacker, even though their political views most likely differ from his own, and they are simply exercising their first amendment rights.

I’d like to know on, what are these Lies that President Trump is saying according to CNN?
The Anti-Trump people say that too.
Merely Parrots of what they’ve heard except, when I ask an individual that same question, they get abusive but Never give an answer
    What are the LIES?

There is a reason you won’t get an answer. They have none to give, not real ones anyway. I examined the so-called ‘lies’ cataloged by WaPo, who says they have 7,000 or so lies from Trump. A good portion, close to half of these are simply exaggerations that amount to personal opinion. One instance said that Trump claimed his economic policies were good, but other economic ‘experts’ say it is not. WaPo calls that a ‘lie.’ Other examples are just ridiculous. So, Trump says he’s going to build a beautiful ‘wall’ on the southern border. When it turns out that it’s more like a giant fence, WaPo claims that’s a lie. NOT! The principle was always, and Trump has said this, to have a ‘physical barrier.’ Oh, and the big one has been Trump’s promise that Mexico would pay for the wall. Leftists claim this is a lie, but it is not. FIRST, and Trump has been consistently clear on this, he never said Mexico was going to write a check for it! He has also never said HOW they will pay until recently when he mentions the new trade deal will do the job. On and on this list of ‘lies that aren’t lies’ continues and I have yet to find one that is really a lie.

    February 9, 2019 at 9:23 am

Are these assaults not hate crimes? If the victim were gay, black, Jewish, or dimmocrat, it would make the evening news. White Conservatives and anyone wearing a MAGA hat have the same civil rights protection by law but the media ignores these assaults.

Connie, I happen to agree, but…the report seems to push this past assault.

The First Amendment…covers our Rights to: …stating an opinion, gathering peacefully and that the government cannot declare a specific Religion for Citizens to worship. PERIOD.

Making an angry verbal assault…is NOT protected by the 1sA…at all.
That is considered by the Court of Law….as a VERBAL ASSAULT.

Pushing this to a PHYSICAL CONTACT…of any kind…falls under ASSAULT + BATTERY.
……..BOTH, are criminal actions and, will land someone in a Court Room.

I sincerely hope that those who follow the the leftist encouragement toward violence
………….END UP, not only in a Court Room, but………BEHIND BARS.

The left is sickos. This will be the down fall of the Democrat party. And as far as the media goes, it will take longer to make a comeback where people trust you, than it did to tear yourself down. People do not tune in for opinion pieces when they are looking for news. The left media has done great harm to their selves.
