Rudy Giuliani, the personal attorney for President Donald Trump, is now reportedly under investigation.

Manhattan federal prosecutors have launched an investigation to determine if Giuliani “broke lobbying laws in his dealings in Ukraine,” the New York Times reported. The probe includes an examination of Giuliani’s alleged efforts to “undermine” Marie Yovanovitch, a top American ambassador who was recalled from Ukraine in May.

The investigation is related to the arrest of two Soviet-born businessmen, who were detained this week at Dulles International Airport in northern Virginia.

More from the New York Post:

The businessmen, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, are accused of helping Giuliani dig for dirt on Joe Biden, and were arrested by the feds in New York on charges they funneled foreign cash to Republican politicians to advance their interests and those of a Ukrainian official who wanted then-US Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch fired.

He told Fox News Friday that Parnas and Fruman “logistically helped” him collect evidence against Hunter Biden and connected him with two former Ukrainian prosecutors — but called the timing of their arrest “suspect” and said he would “reveal relevant facts very, very shortly.”

According to the Times, it is not clear how far the investigation has progressed. There is also no current indication that prosecutors will file charges.

Giuliani denies wrongdoing.

On Friday, President Donald Trump seemingly distanced himself from Giuliani, the former New York City mayor.

When asked about the status of their relationship and whether Giuliani was still his attorney, the president said, “Well, I don’t know. I haven’t spoken to Rudy.”

However, Giuliani told reporters that he is still the president’s lawyer.

Dems want to attack anyone who has anything to do with Trump, even his 10 year old son is not off limits to them.

  • Patrick Rodgers says:

Hate to say it, but Giuliani appears to be a loose canon on the deck. His affiliation with the two dirt bags arrested for campaign violations does not do anything for the image of the President. The President needs to quietly sideline him.

The Manhattan Federal Prosecutors have undermined Trump and the DOJ but I don’t see anything happening to them….. So much for Pelosi and the Chairman in the House saying ‘No One Is Above The Law’….. We shall see what happens….. But I ain’t holding my breath. ANOTHER reason why I don’t trust the DOJ nor the FBI anymore….
