While Marxist Democrats and Mitt Romney bleat endlessly about the need for “police reforms,” real cops are facing real dangers every single day — and increasingly so in an increasingly lawless country.

But whenever an officer is gunned down in the line of duty, all we hear from that side of the political aisle are crickets. And that’s disgusting.

Another member of the thin blue line perished while on the job early Saturday morning, as families and residents of his community were asleep and possibly dreaming about the coming day’s July 4th activities.

As The Epoch Times reported:

The Toledo Police Department confirmed in a release that officer Anthony Dia was shot in the chest while responding to a call about an intoxicated man in a Home Depot parking lot on July 4. When Dia approached the male, according to witnesses, the male turned around and shot Dia in the chest.

Dia was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, officials said.

Witnesses told the department that they saw the suspect flee into a wooded area. While officers investigated the area, they heard a gunshot in the wooded area.

Worse, his last words were recorded in a final communication with an emergency dispatcher: “Tell my family I love them.”

Chilling. And extremely sad.

Toledo Police Chief George Kral said that “it’s a sad day for the Toledo Police Department, and most importantly it’s a sad day for the family, friends, loved ones, and fellow officers of Ofc. Anthony Dia, who paid the ultimate sacrifice in protecting his city tonight.”

Dia, 26, joined the department in 2018. He wasn’t a rookie but he wasn’t a vet for that long, either.

He leaves behind a wife whom he met at a concern a decade ago and two small boys whom he always provided for.

“I will never forget the sight of Officer Dia being wheeled out of the hospital on a gurney,” Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz told local news outlets. “His body wrapped in an American flag, flanked by about 30 Toledo police officers, saluting and weeping.”

Reports noted that the scumbag who killed Dia, Edward Henry, 57, had a lengthy arrest record going all the way back to 1986. At the time he ‘allegedly’ shot and killed the officer, was in violation of a court order to appear for an August incident in which he threatened to shoot a woman who had confronted him for urinating on her fence.

“To honor the life and service of Officer Dia, I have ordered that the flags in Lucas County and at the Statehouse be lowered to half-staff beginning tomorrow and through his funeral service,” Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said in a statement.

This is the inevitable effect of lawlessness. Based on his rap sheet alone, Henry should have already been in prison for the rest of us life busting rocks for a living, having proved time and again that he can’t abide by civil society’s rules.

But of course, we’ll not hear any of that from Democrats or their lawless Marxist revolutionaries in the BLM movement.

Yeah, because sending out a social worker to deal with an armed drunk would really help.

This is terribly for Officer Anthony Dia’s family. When is this insane hatred for our police officers going to end? Pathetic lawlessness in our country has to stop. Do we need militia forces to end this horrible nightmare?

      RD, my friend…
I hate to say it, but it’s getting there.

I know a county sheriff in another state (apart from the one I presently live in) who said he’s about ready to deputize EVERY retired military service-member & keep the peace…if it comes to THAT.
Not only will they have to uphold the local law; but uphold the US Constitution they swore to uphold & defend when they enlisted…a militia of sorts. He’s a retired US Marine anyhow, himself.

It’s getting THAT bad & NO MEDIA OUTLET will report it in that manner. They basically report any incidents as “isolated”, but they’re ALL typically loosely organized mobs OR career criminals just using the unrest to do more criminal activity.
Isolated, my ass…yeah…& global terrorism is just about as “isolated”.

Along with THAT, “COVID19” is basically a political decree by corrupt leftist politicians in the deep globalist pockets to tell citizens to comply in fear over a virus & let the criminals run amuck.
The result is the shit we see every day NOW.

Let me tell you what’s going on. You already know but I’ll say it anyway. They said they were gonna impeach Trump before he even took office. They carried out their scheme, the Russian Collusion Delusion. Then came the caravans. That was their ace in the hole. Overwhelm Trump’s border with millions of Dem voters who would need to be taken care of which would ruin his great economy and at the same time, make him look like he hated immigrants. Then when that failed they jumped right into the Phony Impeachment. Then within a few days of that failing, Trump didn’t even get to catch his breath from those, the left in cahoots with China started the Chinese Pandemic. Then the VERY DAY I READ THAT TRUMP’S ECONOMY WAS COMING BACK WITH A BOOM, THE PROTESTS AND RIOTS STARTED. The left had been fanning the fire of black’s racial tension for years waiting for an opportunity to exploit it fully. Then came George Floyd.

THE EVIL LEFT ARE TERMINATORS. THEY WILL NOT STOP DOING EVERY SCHEME THEY CAN THINK OF TO RID THE US OF DONALD J TRUMP SO THEY CAN HAND OUR COUNTRY OVER TO THEIR MASTERS, THE ONE WORLD GOV, BETTER KNOWN AS THE DEEP STATE. AND THEY HAVE PROVEN THEY WILL GLADLY DESTROY OUR NATION TO DO IT. EVERY REPUBLICAN NEEDS TO RISE UP IN NOVEMBER AND VOTE. THE DEMS ARE BOUGHT OUT GLOBALISTS WHO HATE OUR COUNTRY AND OUR FREEDOM. Sorry I wrote so much.

Have you ever gone to work on a regular day, just thinking about what you had to do on the job or what you and your loved ones had planned for “after work” that day? What if you left for work every day, knowing you could be killed doing your job and never make it home to your family? THAT’s what our law enforcement officers face EVERY SINGLE DAY. Where are the outpourings of grief, marches, media coverage and expressions of deep sadness and appreciation for Officer Dia and all of his brothers and sisters who have given the ultimate for our safety? May God bless him – he is now truly “back home” but God bless his loved ones even more as they go through their whole lives without this brave man.

Did that for nearly 25 years, and that in a job that’s even MORE thankless and unappreciated than the Police segment of the ‘Justice’ system, Corrections, in maximum security prisons. Low risk of being shot ‘inside’, but a knife, homemade or not, kills just as easily, and a ‘group stomp’ lasting 3 minutes or so can feel like forever, if you’re waiting for backup. I, and all of my former fellow officers understand.
