Christine Blasey Ford’s attorney Debra Katz told an audience at the University of Baltimore’s Feminist Legal Theory Conference in April that her client was politically motivated to testify against then-U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of alleged decades-old sexual assault. According to Katz, Blasey Ford, whose social media was notably scrubbed before testimony, was concerned about Kavanaugh’s stance on abortion and how it might impact Roe v. Wade.

“In the aftermath of these hearings, I believe that Christine’s testimony brought about more good than the harm misogynist Republicans caused by allowing Kavanaugh on the court,” the attorney said at the event, where she was keynote speaker, according to Newsweek (emphasis added). “We were going to have a conservative [justice] … Elections have consequences, but he will always have an asterisk next to his name. When he takes a scalpel to Roe v. Wade, we will know who he is, we know his character, and we know what motivates him, and that is important; it is important that we know, and that is part of what motivated Christine.”

In a letter penned to Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) last year, Blasey Ford claimed Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her at a house party in the early 1980s, though she said she was unable to specify exactly where or when the alleged incident took place. The dubious claim was uncorroborated, the alleged witnesses she named denying any knowledge of the party or outright refuting the accusation, and the Senate Judiciary Committee ultimately found that there was “no evidence to substantiate any of the claims.”

“In neither the committee’s investigation nor in the supplemental background investigation conducted by the FBI was there ANY evidence to substantiate or corroborate any of the allegations,” the Committee wrote.

Reporter Ryan Lovelace, the author of “Search and Destroy: Inside the Campaign against Brett Kavanaugh” and the first to cover the circulating video, told “Fox & Friends” that Katz’s admission flies in the face of what the lawyer and Blasey Ford told the American people at the time of the testimony.

“For me, it raised two big things,” said Lovelace. “The first is it contradicts much of what Debra Katz said at the time as Christine Blasey Ford’s lawyer, that Christine Blasey Ford was ambivalent about all of this … and it contradicts… that Christine Blasey Ford was saying this was all about her ‘civic duty.'”

“My motivation in coming forward was to be helpful and to provide facts about how Mr. Kavanaugh’s actions have damaged my life and so you can take into serious consideration as you make your decision,” Blasey Ford said at the hearing. She also called her testimony her “civic duty” in GoFundMe messages to monetary supporters.

Lovelace said his biggest question after listening to Katz is, if Blasey Ford was “working with all those organized forced that Debra Katz mentioned that had been trying to cancel Kavanaugh’s nomination from the very bringing and really even before he got picked?”

Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court in early October.

A single GoFundMe account for Blasey Ford racked up nearly $650,000 by the end of November.

In my opinion, Christine Blasey Ford should be prosecuted for dragging Mr. Kavanaugh through the mud and putting a black mark on his name as well as wasting taxpayer money. What a witch. And the charge being politically motivated makes it even worse. If people who file false claims are brought to justice, I feel it would make people think before they jump.

Blasey I can’t afford anything. Is the money worth it? Looser! Guess you thought it was all worth it. You were so fragile to begin with because you are a sociopath freak. Wonder what living a lie off trying to take down a guy that rejected you in your youth has done to you and your family? His dad , a judge, ordered a foreclosure on your house when you were a kid. Revenge? You make me sick

Speaking of, where has she been? ever since this whole thing came out, she has been MIA . did she drop dead or something? is she still with us?

All of the objections to Judge Kavanaugh being nominated as a Supreme Court Judge were made up by the democrats and they used Ford as a willing participant in their attempt to keep President Trump was appointing another Constitutional judge to the Supreme Court. They want the federal courts to be packed with liberal judges so they can take any of the President’s proposals to the court which will put a temporary hold on it. Their attempted coup on a duly elected sitting President failed so this was their next step to handcuff the President. Democrats have always been dirty in the past but they are a 1000 times more vile and evil now, especially against this President.
